RC Altimeter #2 PRO was designed to provide a lightweight, compact device for measuring and recording altitude over time and to transmit it to the ground via 433MHz band. The concept was taken from designing and developing instruments for glider planes and it is based on an altitude sensor, used in FAI flight loggers. It was designed specifically for use in onboard radio controlled (R/C) aircrafts, however it is also very useful in many other applications. RC Altimeter #2 PRO provides in real time currently altitude, maximum altitude achived in flight, vario (climb rate) and battery voltage directly on the field, via telemetry link on RC T1000 module. It also provides recorded altitude data to the PC, through a RS232 serial interface. With RC GPS module, it will also transmit ground speed and distance from home position (R/C pilot) and will record all required GPS data (latitude, longitude, QNH and ground speed) to see your flight in 3D with Google Earth. Speed graph will be shown on PC if you have RC GPS module connected to it when flying.
